Lockerbie NCC Park Sale Report 2017

William Thomson was presented with over 50 shearling rams to judge at the Lockerbie Park sale on Wednesday 13th September, his Champion came from the Humbleheugh pen of WD Allen.

Champion was lot 9 from WD Allen, Humbleheugh, the shearling ram by Allanshaws Nutmeg went on to make £4000 when it was sold to Mr Watmore, Northumberland, 2nd was lot 167 from D Matthewson’s Soutra flock  by Synton Rory Mc he sold for £2800 to Mr Westalls, Lancashire taking 3rd place was lot 133 from G Davies’s Synton flock, Synton Vagabond by Allanshaws Special Blend sold for £2800 & heads to Ireland in a half share for the Kilvaddy flock of A McNeill & the Glen flock of D Robinson.
Top price also came from the Synton pen of G Davies – lot 135 sold to a sale top of £5000 Synton 6686 by Hownam Grange Send Off went to the Philiphaugh flock, next at £4500 was lot 134 Synton 6638 by Synton Toronto this ram found its new home at with the Allanshaws flock of J Runciman. Along with the champion at £4000 was lot 32 from PW Hedley’s Overacres flock, Overacres Van Nistelroy by Hownam Grange Peter Pan sold to G Davies, Synton.
