Royal Highland Show NCC Hill Resultsd 2018
The North Country Cheviot hill judging took place on Thursday afternoon at this years Royal Highland Show, a large crowd watched as judge – Mr Jock Sutherland of the Sangomore flock enjoyed the job in front of him.

W & J Thomson – 4 Shear ram, Newbank Spitfire by Keppoch 2427 purchased as a 2 Shear from Lockerbie in 2016 for £8000.
Champion Female
Badanloch LLP – A homebred 3 crop ewe by North Loch Naver Nomad & out of a homebred ewe by Clebrig Jackanory.
Also winning The Whitefield Perpetual Challenge Salver for best bred by exhibitor.
Reserve Male
W & J Thomson – 4 Shear ram, Keppoch 8024.
Reserve Champion
Female Mr WD Allen – A homebred gimmer by a Whitefield ram & out of a homebred ewe.
Overall Champion
W & J Thomson – 4 Shear ram, Newbank Spitfire by Keppoch 2427
Reserve Overall Champion
